The International Society of SS Cosma and Damiano sponsored the event to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Ruth Marion Davis, 80, a longtime Rockaway resident, died June 6. Davis was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 23, 1929 and was a resident of Hammels and Wavecrest for 50 years.
