Anthony Cheeseboro, 37, a longtime Rockaway resident, died May 28.
Cheeseboro was born on July 7, 1971 and worked as a laborer. Cheeseboro is preceded in death by his paternal aunt, Gloria Cheeseboro of St. Matthews, South Carolina.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Hattie Cheeseboro; stepmother, Jacqueline Cheeseboro; siblings, Jack Cheeseboro Jr. and Michele Cheeseboro, both of Richmond, Virginia; Bernice Cheeseboro of Conyers, Georgia; Veronica Cheeseboro of Roosevelt, New York; aunts, Berneathia McKenzie and Marilyn Snider; uncles, Mack Cheeseboro and Robert Ben, all of St. Matthews, South Carolina; Norman Scott and Howard Scott, both of Westchester, New York; aunt, Alice Pointer of Oxonhill, Maryland; niece, Shakana Allen of Conyers, Georgia; nephew, LeVar Shelborne of Richmond, Virginia; great niece, Kimara Shelborne and a host of family and friends, the Wantagh family, Scott, Patty, Judy, Anne, Jane, Joseph, Angela, the entire dedicated staff at the Wantagh IRA and his CDD family.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, Inwood, New York. Interment was at Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale, New York.
