Let Them Live Wherever

Dear Editor,

I saw an article about the court case you wrote about the Residents of Adult Homes who live in the Rockaways. They should be able to live wherever they want to live. The State should not keep them in an Adult Home if they do not need to be there. The people you need to be afraid of are not them (Adult Home Residents) but the so-called normal people who sell drugs and belong to gangs that use guns and knives to control the other people around them. The statement you wrote "would you want them to live next to you" has been used on other groups of people in the past as well. You can not just judge a group of people because of a label that has been given to them. I hoped that in the age of enlightenment that would not still be done.
