At the last few gatherings, attendees have read, in the words of group chairperson Dan Guarino, "their stories, plays, poetry, a futuristic essay, an original song and a rather unique obituary." Sneak peek of "Geometric":

In her ReFRACTion Series of digital photographs, Sally Cumming presents luminous abstract distillations of actual stained glass windows in her home of Ontario, Canada. She writes, "The ReFRACTion Series is an exploration of light - refracted, reflected and in motion.

I am interested in the ever-changing qualities of light, and the resonance of colour. This series is a natural outcome of my interest in stained glass and photography.

I seek to distort the clarity associated with traditional photography and to capture the reflection or shadows of light with a shaking camera. … The digital images are not manipulated in any way."
