Rosemarie Campbell, 67, a longtime Rockaway resident, died May 3.
Campbell was born on June 30, 1941 in Tuscumbia, Alabama and worked as a nurse's aide. She also ushered at and became a member of First Church of God.
Campbell is preceded in death by her father, Frank Echols.
She is survived by her mother, Lessie Moore; sisters, Brenda Jones, Jean Duncan; brother, Alexander Moore; ten grandchildren, Jovan Thomas, Wanda, Willie, Na- Cole, Shereena, Kenyona, Ta-leeka, Ra-gheen, Wesbee, Joshua Wesbee, and Tanea Reynolds and a host of great-grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Dai-von, Nashawn, Christiana, Shakira Perrineau, Isaac Pyant, Elijah Oge, Jaelen Thomas, Tevon Tapper; daughter-in-law, Tala; son-in-law, Buddy Wesbee; parents of her grandchildren, Eliane Johnson, Tracey Thomas, Sabrina Page and Ruben (I-GOD) Barksdale; Jermaine Pearson, Jude Oge, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, and loved ones.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to First Church of God, Far Rockaway. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.
