St.Virgilius/St. Camillus/BCAC Team Takes Second Place

CYO girls swim team had an outstanding year. They placed second at the CYO swim championships in Eisenhower Park on April 4.

The team dinner was held on April 23 at St. Camillus School Hall. The team dinner was held on April 23 at St. Camillus School Hall. The swim meet team has come along way this year, thanks to a great coaching staff, Nancy Crocker, Lynch Lynch, Barbara Corbett, Gerri Trudden and Joe Rissmeyer.

The team went to the CYO Olympics at Eisenhower Park and came home with the following medals;

Novice Free Relay Fifth Place - Barbara Bradford, Erin Moss, Meghan Corbett, Elizabeth Keane; Novice 25- yard Backstroke 12th Place-Alison Allen; Novice 25-yard Breaststroke 4th Place- Jessica Ehret; Bantam 25-yard Backstroke Sixth Place - Carolyn Crocker.

Bantam 25-yard Free 11th Place- Kelsey Trudden; Bantam 25-yard Breaststroke 5th Place -Victoria Henglein; Junior 25-yard Butterfly 14th Place - Hunter Hennessey; Junior 50 Free 12th Place - Erin Longo; Junior 50 Free 14th Place - Monica Glynn; Junior 50-yard Backstroke 14th Place- Teresa Rissmeyer; Senior 50 Backstroke 12th Place Ciara Romero.
