A group of students from Beach Channel High School participated in the twelfth annual Virtual Enterprises Trade Fair that was held at the 69th Regiment Armory, located on East 25t Street and Lexington Avenue on March 26, 2009. The event celebrated the 12th anniversary of the launching of the Virtual Enterprise program in New York City public schools.

The Virtual Enterprise Trade Fair provided the Beach Channel High School students who participate in the BC Bookstore the opportunity to showcase and market their products as they engaged in business with their local, national and international peers in a simulated, global marketplace. (BC Bookstore is a virtual business of Beach Channel High School.)

Students of the BC Bookstore demonstrated their skills, knowledge and diverse talents in entrepreneurship, salesmanship, communications, computer technology, graphic design and global business management.
