Not Good For The Rockaways

Dear Editor,

Do you think this is good for the Rockaways? I don't think we need a California based FTW ("F*%# the World") surf shop promoting gangs, gangster behavior, graffiti, tagging and other related criminal and antisocial behavior.

People should be made aware of this. Maybe I am over reacting and although I do believe in people's right to freedom of expression but trying to "cash in" on promoting this load of crap glorifying criminal behavior while putting our youngsters at risk really pisses me off. We need to continue to improve our wonderful, very

Letters pleasant, beautiful beach and ocean front neighborhood.

Many of us love this community and we should continue to strive for improvements and protect the precious gift that we now have and benefit from living here. If you agree, please circulate this e-mail to your family, friends and neighbors and let's bombard our local officials, The Wave, the 100th precinct, the Beach 116 street Chamber of Commerce, the landlords, business owners and or anyone else who we think might listen, with letters, e-mails and telephone calls. We have the same right to our freedom of expression in promoting good, wholesome, law abiding behavior in our beloved Rockaway community and much more to lose if we don't in the long run.
