Thumbs Up for World Champions

It's thumbs up as World Champions Karate Center excels at the 2009 Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Metropolitan Karate Championship. The World Champions team garnered more gold, silver and bronze medals than any of the other teams from the metro area as far away as Philadelphia. The tournament hosted over 200 athletes at Kingsborough Community College gym on March 15, 2009. The World Champions team is pictured from left to right. Front Row: Harry Charles, Kate Galvin, Janna Hussein, Ryan O' Connell, Dylan Kuznitz. Second Row: Obdulio Rodriguez, Anthony Ciazzo, Isaiah Hernandez, Kyle Sehudeth, Tyler Saloman, Joseph Jhingree. Third Row: Sensei Samer, George Rodriguez, Sensei Bruce Hodes, Diana Rodriguez, Alan Buchaheen, Abdullah Megid. Sensei Hodes invites all to stop by the dojo at 112-20 Beach Channel Drive to discuss the Karate Program.
