Give 'The Kid'A Shot
I am very surprise that you would not give, "The Kid" Eric Ulrich a chance to serve his community as our next city councilman. I for one love the idea that such a young man is inclined to get involved in community affairs and believes in his community enough to run for the City Council. When people meet Mr. Ulrich, they will feel his passion to serve, to help others and to make his community and his surrounding communities a better place to live and raise a family.
I have been campaigning for young people to get out and vote. With Eric Ulrich becoming one of the youngest city councilman it has certainly stirred the minds of our children. They now have a lot of questions and want to know who this young man is. They want to know what the City Councilman does for us. They all see his picture and they all see themselves in him. I think it is great and I hope it inspires younger people to get involved with the issues our communities are facing. We need these "Kids" to step up, isn't that what we've all been saying for the past few years at our local civic meetings.
Eric's passion for community service will be all the experience he will need. Sometimes passion works harder then experience.
