Robert Barrera, a Rockaway resident, died March 16. Barrera was born in Harlem Hospital on March 21, 1940. He served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1962, and advanced through the ranks to Petty Officer Third Class. He served on the USS Roosevelt and the USS Intrepid, among other ships. More...
