Graffiti Down, But Still A Problems In Rockaways

Graffiti became the exception rather than the norm in the Rockaways during 2008. According to the Daily News, using numbers from the NYPD CompStat unit, the 101 and 100 precincts ranked second and fourth out of 16 Queens precincts for the least reported graffiti complaints last year. Of all precincts in Queens they came in second (101 Precinct) and third (100 Precinct), for the least number of arrests.
