Caroline Bests Hillary

Dear Editor,

I have no disagreement with Joseph O'Malley (February 6) on the corruption of Michael Bloomberg. Any Rockawayite would have to be devoid of minds, or corrupt himself, if he was not outraged by the Giuliani/ Bloomberg/Schumer ongoing embezzlement and gifting of more than two miles of our precious public oceanfront land into the hand of private profiteer-thieves and destroyers.

But what counts is not purported carousing by relatives, nor unsolicited

Letters endorsement by slithering politicians; what counts is support for, or opposition to, policies of consequence.

Hillary Clinton supported and still supports the George Bush/Exxon- Mobile/BP grand robbery and mass slaughter against Iraq, approving even late in 2008 enormous increases in military budgets that gave us the year-after-year enormous Bush budget deficits and ultimately The Great Bush Depression. Caroline Kennedy opposed, and opposes.

Hillary supported Slick Willy Clinton's repeal of FDR's New Deal and the giveaway of the public airwaves to super-rightwinger Rupert Mudoch; Caroline opposed, and opposes. Hillary in 1993/1994 was appointed by Slick Willy to crush the single-payer healthcare movement, and was the mother of the private, extorting HMO's which now bleed us; Caroline and all the Kennedys consistently work for quality available healthcare, education and housing for all.

Caroline's uncle Robert Kennedy, our White House-bound New York Senator, and Caroline's father John Kennedy, our American president and Caroline's brother John Kennedy Jr., our then-upcoming New York Senator, were each bumped off because they were each on the verge of seriously reigning-in the ever-fattening, totally-free endgame monopolists of their economic class - as did Franklin Roosevelt. Caroline, too, scares the assassins and upholders of privilege.
