St. Patrick's Day Fashions
Commentary By Rachel Bernstein

This couple knows how to enjoy their holiday in style. This couple knows how to enjoy their holiday in style. Welcome back to The Style Insider. I hope everyone had a great time during the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Rockaway. In this week's issue, I am discussing the best outfits to wear on St. Patrick's Day.

Of course, everyone knows the best color to wear on this holiday is green, no matter what shade you choose. So, I will let you know all of the fabulous trends that involve this fashionable and versatile color.

Ladies, what do you want to wear on St. Patrick's Day? A green tee with jeans? Or even a green dress? Sounds good to me! The best green tee's can be found at Café Press (http://shop.cafepress. com/st-patricks-day). They offer t-shirts and sweatshirts with funny graphics and cute slogans, just for this fun-filled holiday. Green dresses, whether you prefer to be more conservative or more seductive, can be found at This Next (http://www.thisnext.com/- tag/stpatricksdaydress/). They have a fairly wide variety to choose from and even have festive dresses that are not green, if you think that color is not for you.

Guys, what do you want to wear on St. Patrick's Day? A funny t-shirt with jeans? Or, maybe a nice suit with a green button-up shirt? If you are the tshirt type, funny t-shirts can be found at Café Press. There is a wide variety of funny graphics and if you don't want to go too overboard, they offer plain graphics. As for the green button-up shirt, no better place to go than to Ralph Lauren for that perfect buttonup or comfortable polo.

Children always look so adorable on St. Patrick's Day because of those ohso cute costumes and outfits their parents found for them. When I searched for the perfect costume for kids, I found a great selection at Kids' Turn Central (http://www.kidsturncentral.com/holidays/ stpatsstore.htm). There you will find everything you need, even men's and women's costumes. In addition to costumes, they offer great accessories and lovable outfits for your pooch.

While researching new trends for St. Patrick's Day, I came across an interesting article posted in Associated Content. The author, username Pendragon, wrote about some great ideas for this holiday that involve different shades of green and different styles that well-known designers showed at their spring fashion shows. The three colors that were shown in the collections were lucite green, dark citron, and vibrant green. The author states, "With these shades of green, even one is sure to look good on a woman whose natural coloring may not otherwise look well in plain green." According to the article, Emanuel Ungaro created a beautiful knee-length one-shoulder strap dress in vibrant green. The designer also created a versatile lucite green pantsuit with a belt that can be worn to any spring occasion. Lanvin, one of my favorite designers, created a lucite green dress that would be great to wear on a night out on St. Patrick's Day.

That's all for this week, but make sure to look out for my next column in which I will discuss the best accessories for Spring.
