Helen A. Klotz
Helen Klotz (nee Santich), a native Rockaway resident, died February 28. She was 81.
Klotz was born in Rockaway on January 18, 1928. She remained in Rockaway until 2005, when she relocated to Baldwin, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Stephen Santich; brother, Larry Santich; and husband of 53 years, Howard Klotz, owner of the Beach 97 Street Garage.
She is survived by sisters-in-law, Betty, Kay and Dorothy; brother-inlaw, Tony; nieces and nephews, Jeanne, Angelo, Marybeth, Brian, Steve, Ann, Lori, Tommy, Gail, Charlie, Cathy, Andy, Kathleen, Ian, Peggy and Larry; and great nieces and nephews, Michelle, CJ, Peter, Lindsay, Karianne, Kelly, Lindsay, Kelly, Collin, Christine, Aaron and Ethan.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Fullerton Funeral Home in Baldwin. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Christopher's Church. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
