Temer Receives Academic Honors
Rockaway Beach resident Zoriy Temer has been recognized by Northeastern University for distinguished coursework during the fall 2008 semester.
Temer, who is majoring in international business and Spanish, has been named to the Dean's List.
To achieve the dean's list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.25 or greater and carry no single grade lower than a C during the course of their college career.

The university partners with more than 2,000 companies worldwide as part of the co-op program and undergraduates can alternate semesters of full-time study with semesters of paid work experience in fields relevant to their professional interests and majors, which gives them up to 18 months of professional experience upon graduation.
