Mary Ellen Furst of Rockaway Beach died February 8.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Hoyler, Grace Fitzgerald, Carol Stietzel and Kellyann Kelley; and longtime companion, Phil Maurer.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. All other arrangements were kept private.
