Know The Facts Before Passing Judgements

Dear Editor,

By the time children enter school, certain behaviors should be ingrained in them by the parents. Parents should teach them to respect other people and mostly themselves. It is the parents' responsibility to prepare their children to act in a civil manner outside the home. If parents are told their child's actions are not in harmony with school rules, it is the parent who must discipline their child so all children can learn. It only takes one child out of order to disrupt the learning process. Let's not jump to conclusions about guilt or innocence in situations that arise from interactions between school officials and students. Let all the facts come out before fingers are pointed which can lead to lives being ruined because of lies and innuendoes. In the same way, let's acknowledge the great job that teachers and paras do everyday for all children.
