PS/MS 183 Annual Christmas Talent And Fashion Show

On the evening of December 23, 2008, the PS/MS 183 family presented their annual talent and fashion show. This year's talent show included singing, ballet dancing, and a new version of a "Female Singer Scrooge." The play was written and coordinated by Mrs. Emanuel, the school's SAPIS worker.

Parent Association board members, Lisa Cooper, Della Jackson, Elaine Williams and Yanilda Paz, along with volunteers Maria Boucher and Mrs. Robinson, and Parent Coordinator, Mrs. Stillwell, worked diligently to provide gifts, food and assistance to the audience. All children performers were awarded certificates and candy bags from the Parent Association. Raffle winners were awarded with a microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, kitchen utensils and a huge fruit and nut basket, donated by school librarian, Mrs. Ovadia.

In addition to the Holiday show, the Parent Association provided every child in the school with a holiday toy, donated by Toys for Tots. The PS/MS 183 family applauds Toys for Tots for spreading some holiday cheer.
