The First Step Towards A New Future

Despite all the gloomy news coming from Wall Street and the Middle East, people in America look towards next Tuesday as the beginning of something new and exciting, a step into a new future that will bring change from the last eight years and a new way of governmental interaction with the citizens of this country. Barak Obama has proven, even before taking office, that he is on the right track to bring change. While some argue that he has brought on board too many of the old hands from the Clinton administration, we would say instead that he has brought people with experience and expertise, people with the insight into how government works that will allow for the change that Obama has promised us all. Perhaps not since Franklin D. Roosevelt, who came into office during the bleakest days of the Great Depression and quickly brought some semblance of order to the economy, has a nation looked with so much hope to a leader for strength and guidance. We hope and trust that Obama will do for America today what Roosevelt did in 1932.

Isn't that special. You HOPE and TRUST a politician will deliver on his promises. All promises went out the window at the first presidential CIA briefing the President-elect Obama received. I HOPE that P-E Obama can just keep us safe and not help to pass to many new laws. While I lean a little in the other direction P-E Obama will be our next president so I will support him. As you will see, people from my side of the isle will back our next president a lot better than people on the other side backed President Bush. God bless america
