RMP Meets Civilian Auto On Beach 72 Street

A police department radio motor patrol car (RMP) rushing to a call had an accident with a station wagon on Beach Channel Drive at Beach 74 Street on December 28. While police sources declined to provide information on the crash because, "it is still under investigation," eyewitnesses told The Wave that neither automobile was badly damaged, although the two unidentified police officers in the car were reportedly transported to the Peninsula Hospital Center, where they were reportedly treated and released.
