Weiner: Dump Subway Cars In NY Waters
 | | Representative Anthony Weiner recently stated that New York should use retired subway cars to create artificial reefs in its own waters - and stop spending taxpayer dollars to ship them to other states. Weiner called on the Department of Environmental Conservation to immediately update New York's foreign material dumping permit process to allow the cars to be used in New York waters - and save taxpayers $300 per car.
