Boldly going where few have gone, Kathy Boyle and seven intrepid friends traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to participate in a Space Camp for Adult program, a three day training program. Kathy was celebrating her 50th birthday on September 15 and decided it was time to pursue her lifelong dream of being an astronaut. She was joined by her sisters, Jeanne and Monica, and friends, Marian Dunn, Carol Kelleher, Pat McVeigh, Mariel Lambert and Grace Acquafredda. The group participated in lessons in aerospace technology, weightlessness exercises, g-force simulators and a simulated tumble in space in a Multi-Axis Trainer.
