for larger version       Walter J. Dmytrius Walter Dmytrius, a longtime Inwood resident, died July 31. He was 83. Dmytrius, a retired foreman, was born in Far Rockaway. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Hahn. Dmytrius is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Ron) Diller, Donna (Anthony) La Rocco and Karen; five grandchildren; brother, Charles; sisters, Mary and Anne.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Meserole Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of God R.C. Church. Disposition was by Fresh Pond Crematory in Middle Village, New York.
