Annual Fourth Of July Party On Beach 131 Street

Beach 131 Street held their annual Honor America Rag-Tag Parade, a block party held each year on July 4. Here, Chairman Hank Lori lines up the "Ragtaggers" for the parade.
Residents stand attentively as Sheila Murray reads the Honor Roll of those who perished on September 11 and November 12.
This year, the event had a special focus. Friends and neighbors honored recently deceased Kelly Cosgrove, a courageous and loving member of Beach 131 Street. Her children, Matthew and Beth Ann Cosgrove accepted a plague honoring their mother.
Members of Beach 131 Street stand posed for a picture, demonstrating their Fourth of July attire straight down to the dog.
New to the block party scene, "Grandma Pam" poses for a picture with the Franchock twins.
