Gregory L. Keegan
MTA Subway Car Maintainer

Gregory Keegan, a 23-year Rockaway resident, coming from Woodhaven, died June 29.

Keegan was born in Brooklyn. He served in the US Army during World War II. He worked as a subway care maintainer with New York City Transit. He was a member of the Catholic Club, Century Club, Roxbury VFW, and Breezy Point Golf Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; and brothers, Donald, Arthur, and Frank.

Keegan is survived by his daughters, Donna L. Connelly and Margot Condon; sister, Margaret Englert; grandchildren, Meghan, Brendan, Neil and Sean.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
