Thanks To Rockaway Little League Boys Team

Congratulations to the Rockaway Little League Major Boys Storage Place team on a season well played. In the most exciting game of the season, the boys fought hard in their final game of the season against Lichensteins on Friday, June 20 at Fort Tilden.

Storage Place had great performances by pitchers Max Frankel, Michael Tammaro, and John Whelan and from catcher Ryan Hoffman.

The team sent the game into extra innings with an impressive five run sixth inning. Augie Ameruso led the team with a leadoff double. Contributing along the way were Anthony Scotto, Jacob Hollander, Connor Ryan, Chris Ray, and Kyle Hoffman. With two outs, Michael Tammaro hit a ball out of the park as his grand slam put the team up by one run.

It was a pleasure for the Storage Place coaching staff this season, especially with the help of Marty Hoffman and Anthony Scotto. Keep your heads up boys, there's always next year!
