Bungalow Love Ends In Stabbing Death
By Nicholas Briano

The crime scene, where a woman allegedly fatally stabbed her boyfriend on Saturday afternoon.
A lovers' quarrel turned deadly this week when a Rockaway Beach woman fatally stabbed her boyfriend with a steak knife, police say.

The victim, identified by police as Anthony Nicholas, 43, was allegedly stabbed several times in his chest by his longtime girlfriend Natasha Brown, 35, inside their bungalow home at 300 Beach 88 Street on Saturday afternoon, May 10.

Brown was arrested on the scene as she tried to escape from a living room window, according to police sources.

The two are not strangers to violence, court records show.

Brown, an alleged drug user, has been arrested twice for assaulting Nicholas during arguments involving drug use. This fatal incident was reportedly a result of Brown's excessive drug use.

According to police, Nicholas' sister, who lived next door, called 911 after discovering her brother's bloody body just before noon on Saturday.

Police recovered a blood-stained steak knife from the apartment and Brown was immediately arrested and charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Nicholas was rushed to the Peninsula Hospital Center in critical condition, but was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:17 p.m.
