Anna Reed, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died May 13.

Reed, a Craft Specialist, was born in Manhattan. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club and Hammels Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Rivera; brother, Joseph Frieda; and sisters, Rose Viviano and Lillian Raffaelo.

Reed is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Colon; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Friday, May 16, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
