National Library Month culminated with a Poetry Slam at the Beach Channel High School library. Students and staff of the Beach Channel High School community created and read original poetry and published poems. Trophies were awarded to students who showed the most effort on "Poem in Your Pocket Day." The winners were Joshua Mose, first place; Joslyn Hernandez, second place; and Maria Barcenes, third place. The "Poem Tree" displays original poems written by members of the BCHS community.
