MTA Announces Speakers' Bureau

MTA Bridges and Tunnels Speakers Bureau has a line-up of knowledgeable professionals ready to address community groups and educational organizations about a wide range of transportation topics relative to the agency's seven bridges and two tunnels.

Designated speakers can expound on subjects of interest such as ongoing Capital Program investment at the crossings, the operation of a particular crossing, uses of technology in transportation like E-ZPass, the agency's historic role in the "golden age" of bridge and tunnel building in New York, and career opportunities and the types of jobs available at MTA Bridges and Tunnels. Facilities range in age from the 72-year-old Triborough Bridge to the 38-year-old Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge. Presentations can be tailored to a specific organization's interest and might also feature recent and historic photographs culled from our Special Archive. The Speakers Bureau is made up of employees representing various departments, including Engineering, Operations, E-ZPass and Human Resources.

There is no charge for this program. Groups interested in scheduling an MTA Bridges and Tunnels Speaker should contact Judie Glave at 646-252- 7276 or e-mail requests and inquiries to jglave@mtabt.org.
