Pepper Steppers Crowned Top Team At State Championship

A few members of the Stan Pepper Steppers, who qualified to participate in the World Invitational Double Dutch Championships.

Stan's Pepper Steppers, who are representing the Sorrentino Recreation Center in Far Rockaway, won top honors on Saturday, May 3 at the New York State Double Dutch Championships in the Bronx.

The Pepper Steppers qualified to represent the state at the 35th Annual World Invitational Double Dutch Championship in Sumter, South Carolina at the University Center. The event will take place from June 12 to 14.

Team Members: Laa'Neisha Jones, Katherine Rocha, Alaisyia Woodard, Peter Alvarez, Robeisha Davis, Jessica Berrios, Jasmine Hamlet, Nadine Harrison Destiny Alvarez, Shameeka McCoy, Camay Cardwell, Deandrea Jordan, Camilla Ensley, Jason Pizarro, Imini Butler, Imani Saint Clair, Tiffany Duarte and Oksana Bonny.
