Traffic Light For Beach 104 Street

Assemblywoman Audrey I. Pheffer announced that the NYC Department of Transportation will install a traffic light on Beach Channel Drive at the intersection of Beach 104 Street by the end of August.

"I am pleased that the NYC Department of Transportation has finally heard our demands for a traffic light," Pheffer said. "The safety and well being of all who travel this area must not be compromised."

Safety concerns for students at Beach Channel High School, Channel View Academy and Scholars' Academy, prompted local residents to hold several meetings with the Department of Transportation asking for the traffic light.
