Double Dutch Warm-ups Held At Sorrentino
By Miriam Rosenberg

Bubba Morris, 8, whose team came from Albany, burned up the floor with his ability.
As a prelude to the upcoming New York State Double Dutch competition, Sorrentino Recreation Center played host to the 28th Annual Team Deuce/Sorrentino Weed and Seed Double Dutch Rockaway Championship for 2008 last week.

In addition to local jumpers, teams from Albany and Belleport also made the trip. Double Dutch teams will compete at IS 219 in the Bronx on May 3 to decide who will represent New York State at the American League World Invitational Championships. That event will be held in June at Sumter, South Carolina.
