for larger version       George F.Miller George Miller, a 34-year Rockaway resident coming from Broad Channel, died April 24. Miller was born in Rockaway Beach. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, 1968-1970. He was a retired maintainer with the New York City Transit Authority; a member of the Linden Shop and Broad Channel Post American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Grogan Miller; sons, JR and Dennis; brothers, Vincent and Robert; and sister, Grace. Funeral arrangements were entrusted
to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Camillus Church. Disposition was by Green Wood Crematory in Brooklyn, New York.
