for larger version       Bobby Roberson Bobby Roberson, a 30-year resident of Edgemere Houses, died April 14. He was 59. Roberson, an author, was born in Coates, North Carolina on June 16, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lillie Vann Roberson. Roberson is survived by his wife, Gertha; children, Audrey, Shirley, Lydia, Jeromie, Sharnetha, Keisha, Arleasear, Keon, Alex and Anthony; grandchildren, Karon, Victor and Brandon; sister, Melba Roberson; brothers, Clarence and Ted; aunt, Vonnie Matthews; sons-in-law, Victor McCoy and Curt Brown; and many other family members, friends and neighbors.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home, with visitation at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.
