Quinntin McDonald
Student

Quinntin McDonald, a former Rockaway resident, died April 12. He was 17.

McDonald, a high school senior, was originally from Far Rockaway. He transferred to West Hempstead High School in the 10th grade and was looking forward to becoming a chef after graduation. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church and served as an usher at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Rockville Centre.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jermel.

McDonald is survived by his parents, Tracey and Darren; and sisters, Shawnna and Janae.

A service, officiated by Reverend Evan Gray Sr., was held at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment was at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.
