Maureen Cori, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died April 23.

Cori was born in Manhattan. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, St. Rose of Lima Young at Heart Golden Age, St. Francis de Sales Sea Breeze Golden Age, St. Camillus Golden Age and a 20-year organist at St. Rose.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher.

Cori is survived by her husband, John Cori; sons, Brian (Lisa), John, and Michael (Maureen); daughters, Deirdre (Patrick) O'Donoghue and Maureen (Thomas) Cleary; brothers, James and Daniel O'Connor; sisters, Elizabeth Jones and Myra Connolly; and 13 grandchildren

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Friday, April 25, from 2-5 p.m. and 7- 9:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, New York.
