St.Rose Of Lima Hosts Math Bee

St. Rose of Lima students in grades 1 through 3 participated in the yearly primary level Math Bee. On April 7, students competed in a multi-round competition, under the direction of the math coordinator, Dena Iavecchio.

Kieran Mills of grade 3-1 surpassed all competitors but Helen Zhuo of grade 2-2 challenged Kieran up to the 16th round. Brendan Burns of grade 2-2 also did well in the competition, lasting until the 12th round. Kieran is currently preparing for the Regional Math Bee, which will take place on April 22, at St. Ephrem's School in Brooklyn.
