The flower car standing outside St. Francis de Sales Church on Rockaway Beach Boulevard at Beach 129 Street last week drew lots of second glances from motorists driving by. Sticking up from the traditional flowers was a large whiskey bottle made of flowers. Nobody stopped and asked why the bottle, but at least two honked their horns in tribute to a real Rockaway send-off.
