Justin Zemser's Bar Mitzvah
Justin Zemser, son of lifetime Rockaway residents Howard and Susan Zemser was Bar Mitzvahed on Saturday, April 5, at Congregation Derech Emunoh in Arverne, with Rabbi Rubinstein and Cantor Shindler officiating. His uncles, Michael and Richard, and great uncle Milton, former Rockawayites, were present, who along with his father were all bar mitzvahed at Derech Emunoh. His grandmother Irene, born in Rockaway; uncle Dennis; aunts, Phyllis, Cathy, Sharon, and Sheryl; cousins, Rachel, Victoria and Willie; other family members; schoolmates; and teammates from The Ravens attended a reception that was held on Sunday, April 6. Justin is a seventh grade student at Channel View.
