Cops Arrest Teen Gunman Wanted In Robbery
A Far Rockaway teenager has been charged in connection with a Chinese food takeout robbery that occurred on the afternoon of April 6. According to police, Henry Jones, 19, walked into New Garden Restaurant at Beach Channel Drive and Beach 43 Street, pulled out a brown handgun and demanded the money from Shu Ru Lu, who was working behind the counter at the time. Lu gave Jones an undetermined amount of money. He then fled the scene. Jones was arrested this week and charged with first degree robbery, an armed felony offense.
