Alphonse Trapanese
Proprietor

Alphonse Trapanese, a 13-year Rockaway resident, died April 15.

Trapanese was born in Brooklyn. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a restaurant proprietor, a member of St. Rose Young at Hearts, St. Camillus Golden Age, and St. Francis Sea Breeze.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Traynor) Trapanese; children, Alphonse Trapanese Jr., Debra Schilling, and Robert and Joseph Esposito; brother, Vincent (Sylvia); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Camillus Church. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New
