for larger version       Eugene Brown Eugene Brown, a 55-year Rockaway resident, died April 12. Brown, a retired chef, was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his sisters, Ellen Villalobos and Hattie Chen; brothers, Berkley and Franklin Brown; niece, Virginia Cannady; nephew, Don Adams; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
