The Democratic Party cannot afford to once again lose the presidential election since it will spell its destruction. We need a miracle candidate to be recruited before it's too late. Would Al Gore fit the bill? I would also like to compliment Mr. Culotta for finally presenting a lucid analysis in his column, "Labor Pains." In 1932, FDR campaigned for election as president of the U.S.A. with the slogan, "It is time to reign in Corporate greed." Now it is time to reign in "corporate socialism" and meet the needs of the American people so that they are able to live with dignity. EVELYN WEBER
