Local HS Student Wins Essay Contest

Nanayaa Serwaa won the 5th Annual Rockefeller University Science Essay Contest with her essay titled "Why I want to be a Radiologist." Serwaa, a student in Far Rockaway High School's nursing assistant program, has been accepted to several prestigious colleges and has been offered up to $25,000 in scholarships to attend one of her choice schools.
