for larger version       Fresh Air Fund Summer Camp Registration The Rockaway Waterfront Alliance is looking to help families register their children, ages 7-15 years old, to attend one of the Fresh Air Fund camps this summer. The Fresh Air Fund summer camp program in upstate New York offers hundreds of families the opportunity to send their children to camp for two weeks, free of charge. Campers learn to swim, canoe and camp in a safe and supportive environment.
There are a number of camps for children of various ages. In order for families to get the camp session of choice, applications must be received by May 3. Fresh Air Fund staff will accept applications during Rockaway Earth Day on Saturday, May 3 and is willing to visit local schools to assist with the application process.
