for larger version       Ads have a Patent Pending. Click Here for More Information The 'Art Of Nature' Workshop At Gateway Recreational Area Artist and illustrator Patricia J. Wynne will host a free workshop and book signing on Sunday, April 20, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Gateway National Recreation Area. She will help those in attendance discover how to do quick drawings of wildlife, pick up ideas for a nature journal, and she will offer participants tips on publishing their work.
Wynne has illustrated the Learning Triangle Press' "One Small Square" series, and created a series of Dover activity books, that includes the "Butterfly Activity Book." She has worked in an academic appointment and as a scientific illustrator for the American Museum of Natural History. Her work is in the collections of George Lucas, the Chicago Art Institute and Stephen Spielberg. For additional information or to make reservations, call 718-317-4340.
