Ironworkers Recruit Apprentices April 21

The Ironworkers Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Local 40 and 361, will begin recruiting for 100 structural ironworker apprentices on April 17. Applications can be obtained at the locals' headquarters, 35-23 36 Street, Astoria, from noon to 6 p.m., from April 17 through May 29.

Applicants must be at least 18- yearsold; have photo identification; have at least a 10th grade education; pay a $25 testing fee on the day of application; pass a written examination; take a physical task test; and take a drug test upon acceptance.
