for larger version       Carlisle Chisom Carlisle Chisom, a longtime Rockaway resident, died March 31. Chisolm was born in Queens on May 4, 1972. He attended PS 118, JHS 226 and John Adams High School. He was preceded in death by Angelena and Nathaniel; brother, Bob; and nephew Sean Hines Jr. Chisolm is survived by his fiancé, Caroline Lewis; children, Shanita, Donte, Dondre, Adina, Satina, Corey and Caniyah Chisom; granddaughter, Dazani Chisom; sisters, Cassandra, Larrissia and Shaquawana; brothers, Humzah, Nathaniel Jr., Paris, Victor and Leroy; aunts, Ruby Washington and Mera Taylor; uncle, Johnny Washington; parents-in-law, Odell and Edward Lewis; sisters-in-law, April, Varley and Antoinette; brothers-inlaw, Sean Sr. and Edward Jr.; eight nephews; four nieces; and many other family members and friends. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home, with visitation at Gaffney’s Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Washington Memorial Cemetery and Crematory in Mt. Sinai, New York.
